A STUDY AND TRIBUTE TO THE WORK OF OTHERS.
In an effort to explore the evolution of color throughout motion pictures, I created a filter that extracts perceived colors of a selected frame and lay them on an horizontal line that reflects the original composition. I then stitched every frame vertically to get a bird’s eye view at thousands of frames simultaneously. I called it colorblinds, because it filters colors and reminds me venetian blinds.
